When you tag your visitors, you can create bespoke reports that include or exclude those tagged visitor types.
So, a company has visited your website.
You may want to classify them within one of the following groupings:
You may also want to create your own bespoke tags that you can apply to certain types of visitors.
You may want to tag some visitors as ‘VIP’. You can do that.
You could want to tag some visitors as ‘People we hate’. You can do that. Although it’s a bit extreme.
You can create as many tags as you want, and apply those tags to website visitors that are related to those tags.
But how do those tags help you?
Perhaps you’d like to create bespoke reports that include or exclude your website visitors that are tagged in certain ways.
For example, you may be interested in visitors from companies, but not from those that you’ve tagged as competitors or suppliers or ‘People we hate’.
