Exporting A1WebStats results to Excel

You can now export A1WebStats data to Excel so that you can filter in any way you want to.

Let’s say that you’re interested in which companies have been to your website over a period of time.  Instead of analysing each company visit in detail (within A1WebStats), you want to export to Excel to filter the data in a variety of ways.   First of all you run the Companies report and then click on the Export to Excel link as shown at the top of the screenshot below …

That exports the data and, as you can see in the screenshot below, lets you utilise Excel to filter that data in any way you want to.

The export to Excel functionality works across all the reports available.   For example, you may want to export a view of all keyword phrases that have brought someone to your website within a certain time.   By running the Keyword Phrases report you get a view showing you how many times each individual phrase has been typed (as shown in the screenshot below) …

You could choose to filter within A1WebStats, to pick out just certain types of keyword phrases (before Export) or you may want to work with Excel to analyse several different types of phrases.  For example, the screenshot below shows the first page of a filtered Excel spreadsheet showing just the phrases that had ‘coshh’ in them and how many people landed on the website, having searched for each individual phrase …
